Journal Ethics
When reporting experiments on human subjects, International Journal of Dentistry Research mandatorily needs a declaration stating whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards as laid by the ICMR-Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research on Human Participants (Available at: http://icmr.nic.in/ethical_guidelines.pdf)/ its equivalent (example Helsinki Declaration, 2000) were followed or not. When reporting experiments on Animals CPCSEA Available at: http://icmr.nic.in/bioethics/final_cpcsea.pdf or http://envfor.nic.in/divisions/awd/cpcsea_laboratory.pdf or its equivalent is to be followed.
Authors should mention about the ethical principles they followed during conduction of research and preparation of the manuscript. Manuscripts related to human subjects should mention about Informed consent, Permission from Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC). In the manuscript involving children more than 7 years, information related to “Assent” should also be mentioned
